Apple Music now available on Amazon Alexa in India

To start listening, customers can enable the Apple Music skill on smart speaker and link their account either via the Skills Store in the Alexa app or via the Amazon website.

Amazon has announced that Apple Music will now be available via Alexa in India.

Users of all Amazon Echo devices such as Echo Dot, Echo Show 5, Echo, Echo Spot, Echo Plus, Echo Show, and Echo Input can enjoy Apple Music via simple with Alexa, the company said in a press release.

With this, Apple Music subscribers can now enjoy Apple Music’s 50 million songs on Amazon’s full range of Echo devices. Customers will be able to ask Alexa to play their favourite songs, artists, and albums or any of the playlists made by Apple Music’s editors from around the world, covering many activities, moods, and genres.

Customers will also be able to ask Alexa to stream expert-made radio stations centred on popular local genres like Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, and even music from around the world, like Hip-Hop. Ask Alexa to play Beats 1 to hear Apple Music’s global livestream including in-depth artist interviews all completely ad-free.

To start listening, customers can enable the Apple Music skill on smart speaker and link their account either via the Skills Store in the Alexa or via the Amazon website.

A user can give commands like, “Alexa, play music by Badshah on Apple Music,” or “Alexa, play Beats 1 radio on Apple Music.” In addition to India, Apple Music on Alexa is available in other countries as well which include Austria, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States.
