Apple has begun development on the next generation iPad tablet as per its annual product refresh cycle. The new generation iPad tablet could be announced any time in the first half of this year. While the specifications remain a secret, 9To5Mac able to grab images of the Minisuit cases meant for the upcoming iPad 5 and pointed that the iPad 5 design indeed resembles to that of iPad Mini.
Any new information coming from case makers about the upcoming iPad tablet needs to be taken with a grain of salt. The simple reason is that the case makers get only the shell specifications and not the actual product. Minisuit Case maker shared photos of cases meant for the purported iPad 5 tablet. From the image, it was clearly visible that the iPad 5 has been designed based on the physical design of the iPad Mini tablet.
The next generation Apple iPad is likely to come in 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB storage options with WiFi only, WiFi+3G and WiFi+4G LTE models. As per the internal hardware, Apple will obviously use faster quad-core mobile Processor with more amount of RAM. There are no confirmed dates on when Apple plans to announce its next iPad tablet.
