Apple has announced the launch of its new Smart Battery Cases for its latest iPhone 11 series. The new Smart Battery case is available for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max and it comes with a price tag of $129, which roughly translates to Rs 9,200.
The cases come in three colour options including Black, White and Pink Sand. The cases are available for purchase in the US, though there is no information whether it will be made available in India or not.
Coming to the Smart Battery Cases, it comes with a soft microfibre lining that the company claims to protect the latest iPhones. The outside of the silicone case comes with a soft-touch finish. It also features a dedicated camera button for the iPhone 11 series. Once you click the button, it will open the camera App even if the phone is locked. A quick press will click the photo and a longer press captures QuickTake video.
The Smart Battery cases are compatible with Qi-certified chargers for enabling wireless charging. This means one can charge the iPhone and the battery cases simultaneously. It is also compatible with USB-PD charger and support Lightning accessories such as EarPods. When you attach the cases, they show the battery status on the iPhone lock screen and notification centre.
Previously, Apple has announced the launch of a new MacBook Pro laptop in India. The company has launched MacBook Pro with a larger 16-inch display along with other major upgrades. Furthermore, the company has also announced the availability of Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR. The latest 16-inch MacBook Pro comes with a starting price of Rs 1,99,900 and it will be available for purchase from Apple authorised resellers. The Mac Pro starts at $5999 and the Pro Display XDR starts at $4,999 and both the products will be available from December.
