Angry Birds coming to Windows Phone

The game has three versions: Angry Birds - the Classic Game, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio. Recently, Rovio has come out with an update of Angry Birds Rio, called as Angry Birds Rio Beach Volley.

The Angry Birds, considered as the most popular mobile game at the time being, will soon be available for smartphones based on Windows Phone 7 operating system. Rovio Mobile, the creator of the game, said that the users will be able to download and install this application in their smartphones from the Windows Phone application store from June 29.

With the global downloads going well over 150 million, Angry Birds today stands tall as the top rated game across all mobile phone platforms. The game is also the top most downloaded and appreciated paid application.

Presently the application is available in both paid and free version across the stores such as Android, iOS, Symbian and Palm, besides the Windows Phone 7 version launched now.
The company is also planning to launch the game on the BlackBerry platform and hopefully for MeeGo devices too. With the PC version of the Angry birds game already out in the market, Rovio also has plans to announce the game for console based gaming as well that might include Nintendo DS/Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360 and even the Sony Playstation.
