Android Market has seen a quiet update which will show a chart on each of the app page to the users displaying installed history of the apps. With the addition of this new feature, users would now be able to easily find out more about the popularity of that particular app. Users will also be able to see what effect certain updates had on the popularity of that application.
Although this is just a subtle move from Google, the Android Market continues to improve the user experience. The new graph is located on the right side of the app page.
Though it does not show a detailed view of the installed history, it still shows some good bits of information. For example, the Swiftkey app page shows a graph of its install history with a sudden spike. The spike in app installs came when Swiftkey came out of Beta.
