AmazonNow service launched in India, available only for customers in Delhi and Mumbai

The app is available on Google PlayStore as of now and Amazon India claims that it will soon come for other platforms as well.

Taking on the likes of Big Basket and Groofers, Amazon India has today launched its new service ‘Amazon Now’ for customers in Delhi and Mumbai. The app is available on Google PlayStore as of now and Amazon India claims that it will soon come for other platforms as well. With AmazonNow, users residing in Delhi and Mumbai can shop from over 5000 everyday essentials including fresh fruits, vegetables, frozen food items etc. Moreover, these items come straight from stores like Hypercity and Spar apart from Modern Bazaar, Easy Day, BigBazaar, SRS, my247market.com. Not only this, the ordered products will be delivered to your doorstep withing 2 hours (Express Delivery) or at some pre-scheduled time.

AmazonNow will host a wide range of products including snacks, beverages, cooking staples, beauty, personal care and household basics and users will be able to search discover and choose easily among the above-mentioned items. From eggs to bread to chocolates to shampoo, everything is available on AmazonNow from both Indian and International brands.

For the delivery charges, an order below Rs 350 will be charged Rs 29 for Scheduled Delivery and Rs 49 for Express Delivery while orders above Rs 350 will be exempted from delivery charges. However, as per the introductory offer, there is no minimum order to avail free delivery as of now. Not only this, one can also win a Moto X along with their first purchase. There a bunch of cashback offers as well.
