Amazon India opens its first Experience Zone in Bengaluru

The new experience zone will help boost up the visibility of Amazon products which otherwise see themselves out shun by other products available on the website.

Amazon India has now opened its first experience zone in Bengaluru where it will showcase its Kindle book and Fire TV Stick along with other Amazon products. The Amazon Experience zone is currently run in Mantri Square Mall, Bengaluru but Gadgets360 reports that the company will soon introduce such zones in other cities as well.

The main reason why Amazon Experience zone has been set up is to increase the visibility of Amazon products. Amazon India is known more as an e-commerce website which sells products from different brands, however, the Seattle-based giant also has a bunch of products selling under its own brand. Probably the most popular of them all is Kindle ebook while the company is also expected to bring its Echo voice assistant soon in India.

Apart from this, Amazon Basics is another brand which sells numerous types of products on the website, but, often people tend to go for some third party products. Amazon Experience zone will give an opportunity to a customer to use products like Kindle ebook, Fire TV Stick and even products from Amazon Basics before they could actually buy it. Interestingly, Kindle ebook range is already available in other retail stores such as Reliance Digital and Croma.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi is all set to remove the ribbons from its new Mi Home store in Bengaluru. As the name suggests, the Mi Home store will sell products such as Mi Band, Mi Air Purifier, Mi headphones, power banks etc. However, we are highly sceptical if the company will also bring its smartphones to the shelves in the near future.

Bengaluru being the hub of such stores, previously OnePlus also opened up its first ever Experience store in India where customers could get an experience using various OnePlus products and then the assistants there would guide them to order it online.
