Amazon Echo Dot 5th Gen, Cult.Sport Burn, Beats smartwatches, Maxima Max Pro Sky smartwatch launched in India

Amazon has launched the Echo Dot 5th Gen in India. Cult.Sport and Maxima have also launched new smartwatches.

Amazon has launched the all-new Echo Dot 5th Gen in India with improved audio, Ultrasound Motion Detection, temperature sensor, and tap gesture controls. Meanwhile, Cult.sport, a known fitness brand, has made its way into the Indian market with the launch of two new smartwatches called Burn and Beats.

Amazon Echo Dot 5th Gen Price, Features

The Echo Dot 5th Gen from Amazon will be available at an introductory price of Rs 4,999, between 2nd to 4th March 2023. Otherwise, the Echo Dot 5th Gen is priced at Rs 5,499. It will be available on Amazon, and online and offline stores of Croma, Reliance Digital, Poorvika, and others. It comes in three colour variants: Black, Blue, and White.

As for its features, the new Echo dot has a redesigned audio architecture which features a custom full range driver and the highest excursion speaker of any Echo Dot. Customers can just ask Alexa to play their favorite songs from free and subscription-based music streaming services such as Hungama, Spotify, JioSaavan, Amazon Prime Music, Apple Music, and others. Customers can also play music from their smartphones on the Echo Dot via Bluetooth.

With Ultrasound Motion Detection, customers can automate their day by creating smart home routines such as have Alexa turn on compatible-lights or play music when you enter the room.

The new Echo Dot comes with an in-built temperature sensor that can sense room temperature. Customers can use this feature to set up helpful routines such as automatically turn on compatible-AC when it gets too warm inside or turn it off when it gets too cold.

Echo Dot 5th Gen has an that enables tap gesture controls, so customers can simply tap the top of the device to pause and resume music, dismiss timers, or end Alexa-to-Alexa calls. It is powered by the AZ2 Neural processor, resulting in even faster Alexa responses and tap gestures, claims Amazon.

For privacy, Echo devices include a microphone on/off button and the ability to view and delete your voice recordings.

Cult.Sport Burn, Beats Smartwatches Price, Specs

The Cult.sport Beats and Burn smartwatches are available in a bunch of color options, including Black, Rose Gold, and Dark Blue. The Beats model is available for Rs 2,199, while the Burn variant costs Rs 3,299. Both smartwatches are available on the Cult.sport website and Flipkart.

The Cult.sport Beats smartwatch sports a 1.85-inch LCD display with a brightness of 600 nits. It’s equipped with a physical button on the right, and has calling capabilities. The smartwatch can also store up to seven frequently contacted individuals for quick access. Moreover, it features a built-in mic and speaker.

The Burn smartwatch features a slightly smaller 1.78-inch on a square-shaped dial. It supports 550 nits peak brightness and the Always-On display feature. This watch also gets bluetooth calling.

Next, both the watches have a 250mAh battery and offer a battery life of up to seven days with general usage. The battery can charge from 0 to 100% within one hour and 30 minutes. The Beast smartwatch also boasts over 115 sports modes and is water-resistant. The Burn smartwatch on the other hand, only comes with 60 sports modes.

In addition, the smartwatches also offer other functionalities such as weather updates, a calculator, camera, and music controls, find my phone/watch, functional crown control, voice assistant, 80+ watch faces, and music storage for storing up to 60 songs.

Health suite on both smartwatches includes continuous 24-hour heart rate monitoring, SPO2, and BP monitoring, sleep and step tracking, calorie counting, drinking water and sedentary reminders, and menstrual cycle tracking.

Maxima Max Pro Sky Price, Specs

Max Pro Sky smartwatch is now available in the market and can be purchased through omnichannel platforms at a price of Rs 1,799.

Max Pro Sky has 1.85” HD Display with bright colors, 240 x 280 resolution, always on display feature and has 150+ watch faces. The new smart watches of Maxima come in five colours including Midnight Black, Gold Black, Gold Peach, Army Green, Silver Blue.

Some of the other features of the Max Pro Sky include advanced Bluetooth calling chip with high-definition speaker and mic, options to add contacts, recent call logs, dial pads, weather updates, three menu styles, split screen, etc. The smart watch is powered by built-in Artificial Intelligence (AI) voice assistance, says the brand.
