Huami has announced a new Titanium Edition of the Amazfit GTS in China. The new edition is priced at 1299 Yuan which is approx. Rs 13,245. It will go on sale on December 1 in China. However, there is no word on international availability for this new option.
Huami launched the Amazfit GTS smartwatch in India for Rs 9,999 in August this year. The standard Amazfit GTS is made of an aluminium alloy body available in Black and Grey colours with 6 Band options.
The Amazfit GTS Titanium Edition features a titanium body. The silicone straps have also been replaced with fluoro rubber, which is a softer, skin-friendly, and dirt resistant material.
The Amazfit GTS Titanium Edition has the same internals as the normal variant. It comes with a 1.65-inch square AMOLED Display with a resolution of 348 x 442 pixels, 341ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The smartwatch equips a 12-Sport Mode tracking alongside sleep and activity tracking and offers a Low-power BioTracker PPG sensor, a barometer, ambient light sensor, a 6-Axis Accelerometer and 3 Axial Geomagnetic Sensor for its sensing needs. The watch supports Android 5 / iOS10 or higher.
The Amazfit GTS offers a 220mAh battery which can last to up to 46 days in basic watch mode, 25 hours on continuous GPS tracking and 14 days on Full usage. The watch comes with 5ATM (50m) water resistance and is ideal for swimming and light snorkelling.
