Bharti Airtel has today announced that its Airtel TV now has 50 million Android users. The App received 40 million downloads in 9 months since it hit the 10 million mark in August 2017.
In order to celebrate this milestone, the company is extending free subscription for all Airtel postpaid and prepaid mobile customers till December 30, 2018 (from June 30, 2018). Interestingly, according to App Annie data, Airtel TV app was the amongst the most downloaded video OTT apps in India between Jan and May 2018.
The app currently offers over 375+ LIVE TV channels to go with 10,000 + movies and popular shows. Airtel TV has forged content partnerships with the likes of Eros Now, SonyLIV, HOOQ, Hotstar, Amazon, AltBalaji with several more on the anvil.
