Airtel introduces two new bundled packs offering free calls, 4G mobile data

After Vodafone yesterday launched the ‘Double Data’ offer, Bharti Airtel Limited today launched a couple of two new bundled packs for Rs145 and Rs345, which offers internet data and free voice calling Local/STD. Note, the following tariffs and benefits are related to Delhi Circle only and can vary from circle to circle.

The cheaper of the two, the Rs 145 pack comes with 300MB 4G and free Local and STD Airtel-to-Airtel calls with a validity of 28 days. Further, for those using the pack on a basic non-4G mobile phone, Airtel is offering additional 50MB data apart from free Local and STD (Airtel-to-Airtel) calls across India.

The latter of the two, i.e. the Rs 345 pack offers free Local and STD calls (to any network in India) and1GB 4G mobile data which will work only 4G ready devices. Similar to the previous @145 pack, Airtel is also offering 50MB additional data to those using this pack on a non-4G basic mobile phone. Lastly, this bundled pack also comes with a validity of 28 days.

Finishing up with the latest figures, as claimed by Airtel, the telecom operator has over 260 million mobile customers. While 2G, services are spread across 22 circles, 4G services are available in 21 circles. To sum up, Airtel’s network covers about 96% of India’s population.
