After setting its foot in Ahmedabad, Bharti Airtel today announced its 4G services Vadodara and Anand. With this expansion, Airtel is now showering its 4G services in 18 circles across India. Just like any other circle recently, Airtel 4G in Gujarat has been rolled out using spectrum Band of 1800 MHz FD LTE technology which ensures high upload and download speed with high efficiency.
Just to brief out the plans, Postpaid customers can enjoy 4G data with unlimited voice calls for STD, local and Roaming with Airtel’s Infinity plans starting at Rs 1199. Additionally, Airtel’s myPlan extends to this circle as well. For prepaid customers, Airtel is offering free* 4G data for 90 days at Rs 1495. Further, one can avail 15GB 4G up front and 1GB 4G for Rs 51 thereafter for the next 12 months for a recharge of Rs 1499.
Airtel first launched its 4G services in Kolkata back in April 2012. Last week, it introduced 4G services in Bhopal, Raisen and Vidisha. As a part of Project Leap – Airtel has deployed its 4G services in 18 circles including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rest of Bengal, Odisha, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Kerala and UP East. Project Leap is a strategic company initiative aimed at perceptibly improving its network quality and delivering the best customer experience and demands an investment of Rs 60,000 crore over the next three years.
Also, last week the company extended its special offer of 10GB for the price of 1GB 4G data to all newly purchased 4G smartphones. With this offer, 1 GB data will be instantly credited to the customer’s account and the additional 9 GB data can be claimed by the customer through My Airtel app. Users can avail a maximum of 3 recharges within 90 days, on the offer.
