It seems telecom operators are hell bent on denying their subscribers a good sleep this winter. After Airtel announced 50 per cent data cash back on night time web browsing, Aircel today announced its ‘Good Morning’ pack that would enable all subscribers enjoy free Aircel to Aircel local calls every morning between 6AM to 8AM for just Rs 1. Subscribers can avail the offer by either a recharge of Re.1 through ETOP or by dialling *121*6290#. The offer is available in 13 circles of Aircel.
“Users will be charged Rs 1 for the first call of the day between 6AM-8AM after which all his calls would be free during the period. Subscribers can also avail this offer through IVR facility,” Aircel said in a press statement.
Anupam Vasudev, chief marketing officer, Aircel said, “We are delighted to introduce a unique proposition ‘Good Morning’ for our new and existing customers. The product will enable our customers to talk to their family & friends during morning hours at just Re 1 every day. This product is especially aimed at the student community and young working professionals who start their day early and like to be in touch with their friends and family before they head for their respective work places or colleges.”
Airtel is currently offering 50 per cent data cashback to its users on internet data consumed between midnight to 6 AM. For example, if you have consumed 100 MB of data in the said period, the next morning you will get 50 MB back.
So if you have both Airtel and Aircel SIMs and you want to take advantage of both the schemes, get ready to stay wide awake from midnight to 8 AM.
