Acer introduces TravelMate P6, Spin 3, Aspire series and Chromebook series

The new Acer TravelMate P614-51 comes with a starting price of $ 1,149, Acer Spin is priced at $499, Acer Aspire 7, Aspire 5 and Aspire 3 are priced at $999, $379 and $349 respectively. The Acer Chromebook 715 and Chromebook 714 comes with a starting price tag of $499.

Acer has introduced new laptops ranging from its latest TravelMate series, Aspire series, Spin 3 series and Chromebook series. The new Acer TravelMate P614-51 comes with a starting price of $ 1,149, Acer Spin is priced at $499, Acer Aspire 7, Aspire 5 and Aspire 3 are priced at $999, $379 and $349 respectively. The Acer Chromebook 715 and Chromebook 714 comes with a starting price tag of $499.

Acer TravelMate P6

Starting with Acer TravelMate P615-51, the laptop features a magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis to give a premium look. The new laptop features a 14-inch Full HD display with 170-degree viewing angle. It is powered by up to 8th Intel Core i7 processors along with up to NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics.

The laptop is equipped with up to 24GB DDR4 and up to 1TB of internal storage. It features an ultra-responsive touchpad, which is protected with NBT. The company claims that the new professional notebook can deliver up to 20 hours of battery life and it can be charged up to 50 per cent in less than 45 minutes. It runs on Windows 10 Pro operating system. The laptop is Skype for Business certified and it has a four-mic array that picks up vocals from up to 6.4 feet away, a good thing for video conferencing. It is rugged and can handle the bumps, all thanks to MIL-STD 810G, 810F and more.

Furthermore, it comes loaded with a host of security features including Windows Hello support along with an integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 chip that delivers hardware-based protection for passwords and keys. On the connectivity front, it features an optional Acer USB Type-C doc that provides USB 3.1 Type A and Types C, DisplayPort, HDMI, audio in/out options and support for up to three displays.

Coming to the update Acer Spin 3, the convertible notebook series features a 14-inch Full HD touchscreen display with a screen of 1920 x 1080 pixels along with 79 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 360-degree flipping display. The laptop is equipped with Acer Active Pen that enables on-screen input at multiple points of contact.

The device is powered by up to an Intel Core i7 and an option NVIDIA GeForce MX230 GPU. It is backed by up to 512GB PCIe SSD and up to 1TB of HDD storage. The laptop delivers up to 12 hours of battery backup and it runs on Windows 10 operating system. Apart from this, it has gesture tracking. Gigabit 5 with MU-MIMO technology.

Acer Aspire 7, Aspire 5 and Aspire 3

Starting with Acer Aspire 7, the laptop is backed by a 15.6-inch Full HD display along with Acer TureHarmony and Acer Color Intelligence. It is powered by up an 8th generation Intel Core i7 coupled with NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics. The laptop is backed by up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe NVMe SSD coupled with 2TB HDD storage. On the connectivity front, it supports HDMI, USB 3.1, WiFi 802.11 2×2 AC with MU-MIMO technology.

Coming to Acer Aspire 5, the laptop features a similar display as seen in Aspire 7. It is powered by an 8th gen Intel Core i7 chipset along with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics. There is another variant that is equipped with 2nd generation AMD Ryzen processor along with Radeon Vega graphics and Radeon RX 540 graphics. It is equipped with a fingerprint reader for fast login and is loaded with Windows 10. Lastly, Acer Aspire comes in 4-inch, 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch Full HD 1080p resolution displays. Rest of the specifications are similar to Acer Aspire 5.

Acer Chromebook 715 and Chromebook 714

Coming to the Chromebooks both the models feature an all-aluminium chassis and military-grade protection. Both of them features Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad and both of them has integrated fingerprint reader as well. The new Acer Chromebooks are fully compatible with Citrix solutions that enhance business mobility, networking, and cloud platforms.

The Acer Chromebook 715 is equipped with a 15.5-inch Full HD display, while the Chromebook 714 features a 14-inch Full HD display. Both the models deliver up to 12 hours of battery backup and both of them are powered by a range of processors including 8th generation Intel Core i5, Core i3 as well ass Intel Celeron and Pentium Gold chipsets. On the connectivity front, both of them features two USB Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port, a card reader, dual-band WiFi, 4.2.
