Acer’s Windows 8 based Iconia Tab W510 tablet, which was unveiled during Computex 2012 in Taipei earlier in June this year, is all set to be launched in India.
The 10.1-inch touchscreen bearing Tab W510 has been listed on the Flipkart, an online retailer in India, as coming soon. Its TFT LCD display has 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, with 5 point multi-touch support.
The tablet comes with 1.8 GHz Intel Atom Z2760 dual core processor, Windows 8 operating system, 2 GB DDR2 RAM, and 3540 mAh Lithium – Polymer battery. It will come in 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage versions.
The Acer Iconia Tab W510 has dual cameras – an 8 Megapixel unit in the rear and a 2 megapixel unit in the front. There is an LED flash as well. For connectivity, the tablet has micro HDMI, WiFi, USB 2.0, 3.5 mm jack, and Bluetooth 4.0. It is just 8.8 mm thin and weighs 580 grams.
Flipkart has not announced its price yet, but we will bring an updated story as soon as the tablet is made available in India.
