Acer Iconia B1 now available for Rs 8,199

The cheaper 7 inch tablet from Acer comes as a deal breaker for most low cost tablet makers, and might cause prices to drop further.

Acer had announced its affordable 7 inch Iconia B1 tablet for the Indian market a couple of days back with no finite deadline on availability. But the day has finally arrived as Acer Iconia B1 is now officially available in the market at Rs 8,199. Now with a low cost tablet coming from a brand like Acer, the prices of other tablets from low cost device makers are bound to fall further-it’s just a matter of time before we start seeing the shift.

The Acer Iconia B1 tablet houses a low power dual core mobile processor and packs 8 on board storage. It runs 4.1 Jelly Bean update and is aimed at consumers who wish to read ebooks, browse the mobile web, play casual games and connect over social networks.
