You like it or not, your mobile number now has to be linked with your Aadhaar card. You may cry foul, slam the Modi government or protest at Jantar Mantar (if you can) but it has to be done. The mobile operators have been spamming your message inbox by now and you must be reading it about all over.
So we at The Mobile Indian decided to bring you a comprehensive guide article about all important points on how to do it, when to do it and what will happen if you don’t.
What if you won’t
The government has made it mandatory to link mobile numbers with Aadhaar info before due date. If you won’t, your connection will be disconnected.
So what’s the due date?
As per the government, mobile subscribers have to fulfill the due formalities before February 6, 2018. You have enough time. So plan it accordingly and just do it.
How to do it?
At this point of time, you have to go to the nearest store.
Provide your mobile number to the store executive.
The executive will enter your number in e-KYC device
You will then receive a code, which you have to share with the executive
Provide your Biometrics by scanning your fingerprint on the e-KYC device. And that’s it. You are done.
