Samsung has been refreshing its mid-range and budget smartphone and launched the Galaxy A50 in February for a price of Rs 19,990 for its base variant.

It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9610 10nm processor with Mali-G72 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone features an in-display Fingerprint sensor, the only phone to feature one under Rs 20,000. The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup of a 25MP primary sensor with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture and 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 8MP ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. It features a 25MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 9 Pie and is backed up by 4000mAh battery with fast charging.

Nokia 8.1

 

HMD Global launched the Nokia 8.1 earlier this year and the phone currently sells for Rs 19,999 for the 4GB model

The Nokia 8.1 features a 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels and 500 nits brightness. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor with Adreno 616 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For the imagining department, the phone is has a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 12MP primary lens with dual-tone LED flash, 1/2.55″ Sony IMX363 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 1.4μm pixels, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and 13MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, ZEISS optics. For the front, it has a 20MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system and is backed up by a 3500mAh battery with fast charging support.

Xiaomi announced the Poco F1 smartphone under a new brandlast year and the phone now sells for a starting price of Rs 17,999 after a recent price cut.

It’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a dual rear camera setup of 12MP + 5MP with a 20MP sensor on the front for selfies. The device is backed up by 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support and currently runs on Android 9 Pie.

Vivo V15

 

Vivo launched the Vivo V15 in March for an asking price of Rs 23,990 but with time, the device has come down to a price of Rs 19,990. The Vivo V15 is quite similar to the Vivo V15 which we review prior to the launch of the standard V15 model both in performance and looks, even to the presence of the Motorized pop-up 32 MP with some minute differences.

The phone has a combination of a 12-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/1.78 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Saving the latest for the last, the Galaxy M40 from Samsung was launched earlier this week for a price of Rs 19,990.

 

The Galaxy M40 features a 6.3-inch full HD+ Infinity-O display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 400 nits brightness, 91 percent screen to body ratio and a pixel density of 409ppi. It's powered by Snapdragon 675 processor coupled with Adreno 612 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage. It features a triple camera setup with 32-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with 123-degree viewing angle and f/2.2 aperture. There's a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front housed inside the notch. The Galaxy M40 runs on Android 9 Pie operating system with One UI on top and it is backed up by a 3,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging.
