It runs on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chipset paired with Adreno GPU, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. It runs on Android 16-based Magic OS 10.0 and will receive 7 years of major OS updates and security updates.
For optics, the Honor Magic 8 Pro has a triple rear camera unit, headlined by a 1/1.3-inch 50-megapixel primary sensor with an Aperture of f/1.6 and support for OIS. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel f/2.0 ultra wide-angle camera and a 200-megapixel f/2.6 periscope telephoto camera with support for up to 100x Digital Zoom and 3.7x Optical Zoom and OIS also. On the front, it has a 50-megapixel f/2.0 wide-angle camera and a 3D depth camera.
The Honor Magic 8 Pro gets a 7200mAh battery cell in international models and 6270mAh cell in the European model. It supports 120W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. Connectivity options available on the Honor Magic 8 Pro include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v6.0, GPS/AGPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, NFC, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. It further gets an IP69K + IP68 rated build for dust and water resistance, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for biometrics, and stereo speakers with Honor Surround Sub-Woofer system.
