Zync, a homegrown tablet brand has launched a new 7 inch tablet called Zync Z-999+ with Android 4.0 operating system and SIM slot for 3G connectivity and voice calling function.
The tablet priced at Rs 11,990 offers a 1.5 GHz Processor based on ARM Cortex A8 architecture coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 512 MB RAM.
The tablet has a 7 inch capacitive multi-touch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The tablet also gets a 2 Megapixel camera at the back and VGA camera in the front.
Other features of the tablet include HDMI port, USB port, 8 GB Internal Memory and 32GB expandable memory. The phone weighs 340 grams and comes with a 4200 mAh battery.
This is the third tablet from Zync and the earlier ones being Z-900 Plus, Z-990, Z990 plus. However this is the first 3G tablet from the company. Company claims that it has so far sold one lakh units in the past six months and aims to sell half a million by the end of this financial year.
Company is selling its tablets through online retailers like Homeshop18, Flipkart, Naaptol and Snapdeal. It also has retail presence in 22 states of India.
