Zync launches 3G tablet for Rs 11,990

The 7 inch tablet is based on Android 4.0 and offers SIM calling function along with other features like 1.5 GHz processor and 4200 mAH battery.

Zync, a homegrown tablet brand has launched a new 7 inch tablet called Zync Z-999+ with 4.0 operating system and SIM slot for connectivity and voice calling function.

The tablet priced at Rs 11,990 offers a 1.5 GHz based on ARM Cortex A8 architecture coupled with Mali 400 and 512 RAM.

The tablet has a 7 inch capacitive multi-touch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The tablet also gets a 2 camera at the back and camera in the front.

Other features of the tablet include HDMI port, port, 8 and 32GB expandable memory. The phone weighs 340 grams and comes with a 4200 battery.

This is the third tablet from Zync and the earlier ones being Z-900 Plus, Z-990, Z990 plus. However this is the first 3G tablet from the company. Company claims that it has so far sold one lakh units in the past six months and aims to sell half a million by the end of this financial year.

Company is selling its tablets through online retailers like Homeshop18, Flipkart, Naaptol and Snapdeal. It also has retail presence in 22 states of India.
