YotaPhone 3 announced with dual-screen and Android Nougat

The major highlight of the device is the E-ink display at the rear panel of the smartphone, while at the front, there will be an AMOLED screen.

The successor of YotaPhone 2 which is known as YotaPhone 3 has been announced with the key specifications and availability details. The YotaPhone 3 will arrive as YOTA3 in China and the pre-order will start on September 5 at JD.com. The sales for the smartphone will start on September 18. However, there is no news about the Indian availability and pricing.

YotaPhone 3 comes in two variants – 64GB internal storage priced at 2,398 Yuan which is approximately Rs 23,054 and 128GB internal storage priced at 3,098 Yuan which is approximately Rs 29,784.

The major highlight of the device is the E-ink display at the rear panel of the smartphone, while at the front, there will be an AMOLED screen. The YotaPhone 3 will sport a 5.5-inch with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, while at the back, there is a 5.2-inch E Ink touchscreen. The phone also sports a fingerprint sensor on the front side.

Besides, the YotaPhone 3 has octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 coupled with 4 RAM, 64/128GB internal storage. Both variants have space for microSD card. It runs on 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with Yota OS 3.0 on top and it is backed up by 3300 battery. The smartphone also features a reversible USB connector.

For the camera, the YotaPhone 3 features 13-megapixel rear auto focus camera which is assisted by a dual tone LED flash and a 12-megapixel front camera. The smartphone has with GLONASS, 3.5 mm connector, and WiFi (a/b/g/n).
