Xiaomi to launch Redmi 7, Redmi 7A and Redmi Y3 in India: Report

Xiaomi recently launched Redmi 7 smartphone in China while the Redmi 7A and Redmi Y3 are still unannounced smartphones.

Xiaomi recently launched Redmi Note 7, the Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Redmi Go in India. Now if a recent report is to be believed, the company will soon launch three more phones this year in India.

As per a tipster Ishan Agarwal, Xiaomi will launch Redmi 7, the Redmi 7A and the Redmi Y3 smartphones. The report further reveals the company will first launch the Redmi 7 in India. Later on, Xiaomi will also launch Redmi Y3 after Redmi 7 launch. Apart from these two, Xiaomi will also launch the budget smartphone with model code C3F which can be Redmi 7A.

The launch information of Redmi 7A, Redmi 7 and Redmi Y3 has been announced on Thursday via a tweet by the tipster. The tweet reads “As you all would expect, Xiaomi is soon launching the Redmi 7 in India. It will also be launching the Redmi Y3 after that, probably next month or so. And that’s not all, I believe they are preparing another budget smartphone with model code C3F which is probably Redmi 7A.”

Xiaomi recently launched Redmi 7 smartphone in China while the Redmi 7A and Redmi Y3 are still unannounced smartphones. The Xiaomi Redmi 7 comes in three variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version is priced at 699 Yuan (Rs 7,150 approx.), 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version priced at 799 Yuan ( Rs. 8,170 approx.) and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 999 Yuan (Rs 10,215 approx.).

Xiaomi Redmi 7 features a 6.26-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) 19:9 2.5D curved glass display, 84% NTSC Color Gamut, 5 protection. It is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 14nm processor with Adreno 506 coupled with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB. The phone has an expandable memory up to 512GB via card slot. The phone has a fingerprint sensor at the back.

It runs on 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 and is backed up by 4000mAh battery. For the camera department, the Redmi 7 has dual rear camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash, 1.12um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, a secondary sensor of 2-megapixel. For the front, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling with features like beauty and AI face unlock.
