Xiaomi has today launched Redmi 7 smartphone in China. The Xiaomi Redmi 7 comes in three variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version is priced at 699 Yuan (Rs 7,150 approx.), the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version priced at 799 Yuan ( Rs. 8,170 approx.) and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 999 Yuan (Rs 10,215 approx.). It will go on sale in China from March 26th and it comes in Blue, Red and Black colours
Alongside, the company has also launched Redmi Note 7 Pro in China. The smartphone comes only in 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant for Rs 1599 Yuan ( Rs 16,350 approx.) as compared to Rs 16,999 in India. It will go on sale in China starting March 22nd. Other specifications are similar to the Redmi Note 7 Pro that was launched in India last month.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 features a 6.26-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display, 84% NTSC Color Gamut, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU coupled with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB. The phone has an expandable memory up to 512GB via microSD card slot.
For the camera department, the Redmi 7 has dual rear camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash, 1.12um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, a secondary sensor of 2-megapixel. For the front, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling with features like AI beauty and AI face unlock.
It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 and is backed up by 4000mAh battery. The phone has a fingerprint sensor at the back. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS. It measures 158.65 x 76.43 x 8.47mm and the weight is 180 grams.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro features a 6.3-inch full HD+ waterdrop style notched display with a 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor with Adreno 612 GPU. The phone has 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD.
The smartphone comes with dual rear camera with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture, Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, it has 13-megapixel AI camera for selfies.
Redmi Note 7 Pro runs Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 and is fueled by 4000mAh battery with support for Quick charge 4.0. The company claims to offer 14 days of Standby time and 10.5 hours of video playback. The connectivity features are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 /5GHz) Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C. The dimensions of the Redmi Note 7 Pro are 159.2 x 75.2 x 8.1 mm and it weighs 186 grams.
