Xiaomi starts rolling out MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM for Redmi Note 3

Xiaomi has earlier already rolled out MIUI 9 update for smartphones like Redmi Note 4, Mi Max 2, Redmi 4A, Redmi 4.

The China-based handset manufacturer, Xiaomi has announced to roll out the MIUI 9 Global Stable for Redmi Note 3. Xiaomi has earlier already rolled out MIUI 9 update for smartphones like Redmi Note 4, Mi Max 2, Redmi 4A, Redmi 4.

This announcement was made by Xiaomi’s Product Manager, Rohit Ghalsasi on his official Twitter handle yesterday. As per his tweet, the MIUI 9 has been rolled out to Redmi Note 3 devices starting January 28. The tweet reads “Redmi Note 3 users will start receiving MIUI 9 stable update starting from today but not everyone will get the update same time. It may take 48-72 hrs for you to get the update.”

Recently, Xiaomi released a list of 40 smartphones to receive the MIUI 9 update. One of them was Redmi Note 3 and now the device has finally got the update.

To recall, Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 3 in India back in the year 2015. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with a full metal body and comes with a 5.5 inch full display. It is armed with the 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa core processor. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor as well. Note that the 2 model has 16 GB of while the 3 GB version has 32 GB of internal storage.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The rear camera is equipped with 5 element lens, f/2.0 aperture, 78-degree wide angle lens, two-tone flashlight, panorama, HDR, and manual mode features. The front camera also has a f/2.0 and it has face recognition and Beautifies modes.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 dual with connectivity, 4.1, WiFi, WiFi Direct, and GPS with A-GPS, and Beidou. The Note 3 has IR blaster which will allow it to be used as a remote controller. Besides, it has an electronic compass, gyroscope, gravity sensor, proximity, hall, and light sensors.
