Xiaomi today slashed price of its Mi Pad by Rs 2,000. Post the price cut, the Mi Pad is now available for Rs 10,999 against its original price of Rs 12,999 in India. It is available from Mi.com and Flipkart.com.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad has a 7.9 inch IPS display with appreciable 326 ppi Pixel density (2048 x 1536 resolution) and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on the powerful NVIDIA Tegra K1 quad-core 2.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A15 processor that comes with Kepler GPU which is said to be 1.5 times more energy efficient than other mobile GPUs. Also it has 2 GB DDR3 RAM and huge 16 GB internal memory.
The Mi Pad has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. It has WiFi, WiFi Direct, and Bluetooth 4.0. The tablet has a 6700 mAh battery. It has the Android 4.4 operating system.
