Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest Redmi Y3 smartphone in India on April 24. Now, just ahead of launch, the company has shared a video that gives us some hint of the design and the phone’s durability.
The company posted the video on its official Twitter handle. The tweet reads, “How about the build quality? See it for yourself. Will you drop your phone like that? #32MPSuperSelfie arriving on 24-04-2019.” The 51-second video shows a person tossing the smartphone in a dust bin and then sealing it with tape.

The person then kicks the dustbin from the stairway and at the end of the video, it shows that the phone is working perfectly fine. The video also teases the front and back panel of the device. Starting with the back panel, it shows that the phone will be equipped with a gradient finish, and there is a dual-camera setup that is aligned vertically and one can also AI dual camera written just beneath the camera module. There is a fingerprint sensor at the top-centre position. At the end of the video, the front panel of the phone shows that it will be equipped with a notch, which is becoming a standard in Xiaomi’s smartphones.
