Xiaomi is all set to announce its new series of Redmi smartphones in China. The company has posted an official teaser on its official Weibo account revealing that the brand could unveil Redmi 6 series in the country.
The teaser image reveals the number 6, which confirms that the next series will Redmi 6.The company might launch Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Plus and Redmi6A,if past rumours are anything to go by. The smartphones have been leaked numerous times in the past revealing some key information.
Starting with the Redmi 6 Plus, the smartphone with model number M1805D1SE has been certified by the Chinese authority revealing its key specs and design language. TENAA listing reveals that the smartphone will feature a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with a screen Resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone will be powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor.
The device will be available in different variants starting with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage option, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and lastly there will be a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option as well. On the camera front, the phone will feature a dual-camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with LED flash. For the front, there will be a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.
The Redmi 6A was also certified by the TENAA. The device bears a model number M1804C3CT and features a dual-camera setup just like the Redmi 6 Plus. Coming to the key specifications, TENAA listing reveals that the smartphone will feature a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone will be powered by a 2.0 GHz quad-core processor.
