Alleged Xiaomi Redmi 6A with 5.45-inch HD+ display and Android 8.1 Oreo gets certified

TENAA listing reveals that the Redmi 6A will be available in Black, Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, White, Blue, Red, Pink, Gray, and Silver colour options. It features horizontally-aligned dual rear cameras with a combination of 13-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with LED flash.

A new Xiaomi smartphone has been certified by the Chinese regulatory body, TENAA, which could be none other Xiaomi Redmi 6A. The smartphone with model number M1804C3CT has been certified by the Chinese authority revealing its key specs and design language.

Starting with the design, the smartphone comes with horizontally-aligned dual rear cameras and company’s logo on the back panel. The front shows a rounded-edge display that has thin bezels. The alleged Redmi 6A will be available in Black, Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, White, Blue, Red, Pink, Gray, and Silver colour options, the listing reveals.

Coming to the key specifications, TENAA listing reveals that the smartphone will feature a 5.45-inch display with a screen of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone will be powered by a 2.0 GHz quad-core processor.

The device will be available in different variants starting with 2GB and 16GB storage option, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and lastly there will be a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option as well. On the camera front, the phone will feature a dual-camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with flash. For the front, there will be a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6A will run on 8.1 Oreo with company’s custom MIUI on top of it and it will be backed by a 3,000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, one could expect VoLTE, WiFi, 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, hybrid and port. The device measures 147.46 x 71.49 x 8.3mm and weighs 145 grams.
