A new Xiaomi smartphone has been certified by the Chinese regulatory body, TENAA, which could be none other Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. The smartphone with model number M1805D1SE has been certified by the Chinese authority revealing its key specs and design language.
Starting with the design, the smartphone looks similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro with its vertically-aligned dual rear cameras, fingerprint sensor and company’s logo on the back panel. However, it is the front that now comes with a notch, which is now becoming a new standard in the smartphone industry. The alleged Redmi Note 6 Pro will be available in Black, Rose Gold, Gold, White, Blue, Red, Pink, Gray and Silver colour options, the listing reveals.
Coming to the key specifications, TENAA listing reveals that the smartphone will feature a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with a screen Resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone will be powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor.
The device will be available in different variants starting with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage option, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and lastly there will be a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option as well. On the camera front, the phone will feature a dual-camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with LED flash. For the front, there will be a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s custom MIUI on top of it and it will be backed by a 4000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, one could expect 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, hybrid Dual-SIM and Micro USB port. The device measures 149.33 x 71.68 x 8.75mm and weighs 178 grams.
