Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro official renders surface, shows notch display and colour variants

The Redmi 6 Pro sports an iPhone X-like notch on the top of the display. The device has a big chin on the bottom with thin side bezels. Redmi 6 Pro features vertically aligned dual rear camera setup and a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Xiaomi has announced the launch event of Redmi 6 Pro along with Mi Pad 4 on June 25. Now ahead of the launch, a couple of images have been leaked online which reveals the design details of the upcoming Redmi 6 Pro.

The images have been posted on Chinese microblogging portal Weibo but they do not reveal the specifications of the Redmi 6 Pro. As per the image, the Redmi 6 Pro sports an iPhone X-like notch on the top of the display. The device has a big chin on the bottom with thin side bezels.

The images also show that the Redmi 6 Pro features vertically aligned dual rear camera setup. It will also have a fingerprint scanner at the back. One of the images posted by the tipster shows About Phone section which reveals that the alleged Redmi 6 Pro will run MIUI 9.6 based on 8.1. It will feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage.

Xiaomi has also shared some render images of the device on Weibo which also shows the smartphone’s design and its color variants. The smartphone will be coming in Rose Gold, Sand Gold, Lake Blue, Black and Flame Red colour variants.

As per earlier rumours, Redmi 6 Pro may feature a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone will be powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor. The device will be available in different variants starting with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage option, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and lastly there will be a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option as well. On the camera front, the phone will feature a dual-camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with flash. For the front, there will be a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.
