Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s renders and specs leaked before MWC 2018

Mi Mix 2s might be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 chipset and coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Xiaomi is expected to launch the successor of Mi Mix 2 smartphone which is dubbed as Mi Mix 2s at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. Recently, the Mi Mix 2s leaked specs sheet revealed some key information about the Mi Mix 2s. And now, a promo material has leaked on China’s microblogging site Weibo. The leak has revealed its design along with some specifications.

As per the leaked photo, the Mi Mix 2s is expected to come with almost no bezels as it seems to feature full view edge-to-edge display. If rumours are to be believed, the smartphone could sport a 5.99-inch bezel-less display with a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio similar to Mi MIX 2 but it features a 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. It shows the front of the device features the selfie camera to the top-right corner. It also shows that Mi Mix 2s might be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 chipset and coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

A recent leak showed that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s will be featuring a four-sided curved ceramic unibody. The report says that the Mi MIX 2S will be the world’s first to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. It will have 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. For the camera, it will be boasted by 12-megapixel dual cameras with optical zoom. It will also support for global bands.

As per an earlier leak, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s has reportedly been codenamed ‘Polaris’ within the company, and it is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is also rumoured to sport a 12-megapixel dual camera setup on its back. Also, the display aspect ratio is expected to be 19:5:9 and not the traditional 18:9 aspect ratio. However, there’s no info on the display size though. It is also said that the phone will carry a price tag of around Yuan 3000 in China.
