Xiaomi has already confirmed to launch the Mi Mix 2S on March 27 in China. However, at that time, the company did not reveal the event place where it will be unveiling the Mi Mix 2S. Now, Xiaomi has shared a new teaser of Mi Mix 2S on its official Weibo (Chinese microblogging website) handle. The teaser has confirmed that it will be holding its launch event in Shanghai, China on March 27.
The teaser also carries an image which shows slim bezels at its top, left and right sides of Mi Mix 2S. The bottom bezel is not visible in the image and it is likely to feature the selfie camera.
Apart from the teaser, a leaked image of the alleged Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S has also surfaced on Weibo. The image shows Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is placed next to the Mi Mix 2. The Mi Mix 2S is on the left and the Mi Mix 2 is kept on the right. While the Mi Mix 2 comes with a single camera, the Mi Mix 2S features dual rear cameras placed in the top left corner. Also, there is a flashlight between the two sensors.
Earlier a couple of promotional images of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S were also leaked online which reveals a nearly 100% screen-to-body ratio. These images show the Full Screen 3.0 technology, with the highest screen-to-body ratio ever. Recently, an image of Mi Mix 2S leaked which revealed that the upcoming flagship will come with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Earlier, a screenshot showing the MIUI About screen of the Mi Mix 2S surfaced online showing its key specifications, as per which it will feature a 6.01-inch display FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The upcoming smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 Processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will also come with the 16-megapixel rear camera and a 4400mAh battery.
As per earlier leaks, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will be featuring a four-sided curved ceramic unibody. It will have 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. For the camera, it will be boasted by 12-megapixel dual rear cameras with optical zoom, Sony IMX363 sensor, and 5-megapixel front camera. It will also support for global 4G LTE bands. The Mi Mix 2S is expected to come with almost no bezels as it seems to feature full view edge-to-edge display. If rumours are to be believed, the smartphone could sport a bezel-less display with a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio similar to Mi MIX 2 but it features a 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio.
