Xiaomi launched Mi MIX 2s in March this year in Black or White colour variants. Now Xiaomi has launched the Mi MIX 2S Art Special Edition in China. The company has collaborated with the British Museum to design the all new Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S Art Special Edition. The Mi Mix 2S Art Special Edition is priced at CNY 4,299 (which is approx. Rs 45,300). It will be available in limited quantities via flash sale starting May 10.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Art Special Edition features the black ceramic panel with laser engraving highlighting the contribution from the British Museum. It comes with designed protective case, exclusive Renaissance period themes, and a customized box package with a free wireless charger. The new edition comes with the logo of The British Museum on the back.
As far as specifications are concerned, the smartphone comes with same specifications as that of the existing variant. Currently, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s is priced at CNY 3,299 (approx. Rs 34,000) for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs CNY 3,599 (approx. Rs 37,000). The high-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant along with a free wireless charger, priced at CNY 3,999 (approx. Rs 37,000). The new variant comes with comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Art Special Edition features a 6.0-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Display along with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz along with Adreno 630 GPU. The phone is backed by a 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s comes loaded with a dual-rear camera setup at the back that comes with a combination of 12-megapixel Wide-Angle lens with Sony IMX363 sensor and f/1.8 Aperture along with 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom. The dual camera also comes loaded with optical zoom, portrait mode, 4-axis OIS, impressive 1.4-micron pixel size, dual-pixel Autofocus and hardware-level multi-frame noise reduction. For the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The device runs on MIUI 9 based on Android Ore and it is equipped with company’s new voice assistant ‘Xiaol’. The phone also supports Google’s ARCore. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s is backed by a 3400mAh battery and it is company’s first smartphone that supports wireless charging. For connectivity, it is equipped with Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (MU MIMO, 2×2 MIMO), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0 + LE and USB Type-C port.
