Xiaomi is prepping to launch the upcoming Xiaomi Mi A2 in the global markets soon. The smartphone was recently spotted on Taiwanese certification agency NCC’s official website. And now a live image of Xiaomi Mi A2 has surfaced online.
Xiaomi’s Mi A2 smartphone is said to be Android One variant of Mi 6X which was launched in April this year. Xiaomi held a global event last year to launch the Xiaomi Mi A1 Android One smartphone which is a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Mi 5X that it had launched a little earlier in China. But the Mi 6X smartphone will run on stock Android instead of their Proprietary MIUI OS used in the Mi 6X.
Slashleaks has leaked the image of the smartphone which shows the front of the device revealing the About screen of Mi A2. The About page confirms that the phone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo software with no mention of MIUI. The image also shows a May security patch. The leaked About page also confirms that the Mi A2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 Chipset which is the same SoC employed used in the Mi 6X. The front comes without a notch and features a selfie camera with an LED flash.
As per earlier leaks, the smartphone will come in three variants – 32GB variant priced atEuro 289 (approx Rs. 19,800), the 64GB variant which will cost youEuro 329 (approx Rs. 22,500), and the 128GB variant which comes in atEuro 369 (approx Rs. 25,200). Xiaomi Mi A2 will come in Black, Blue, and Gold colour variants.
Xiaomi Mi A2 smartphone was recently spotted on a Swiss electronics retail portal revealing its key specifications. The Xiaomi Mi A2 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 2160 × 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage. On the camera front, the device features a dual-camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary lens with f/1.75 Aperture along with a secondary 20-megapixel secondary sensor with f/1.75 aperture. For the front, there is a 20-megapixel shooter with a f/1.8 aperture for selfies and video calling
The Xiaomi Mi A2 will be backed by a 3010 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and it will run on Android 8.1 Oreo. The listing mentions that the Mi A2 is an Android One smartphone. On the connectivity front, it supports, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-SIM, GPS and USB Type-C port. The Mi A2 will measure 158.70 x 7.30 x 75.40mm and weigh in at 168 grams.
