Last week, a report claimed that Xiaomi is working on three new smartphones featuring in-display fingerprint sensors, including the Mi 9X. Now, the alleged specifications of the Mi 9X have now surfaced online along with its pricing.
As per the leak from Chinese microblogging website, Weibo, the Mi 9X could feature a 6.4 inch AMOLED Display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080p resolution. The waterdrop notch screen will be embedded with a fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 675 Processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 64Gb internal storage.
For the camera department, the phone will likely to feature a triple camera setup on the back panel. It may include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and 13-megapixel super Wide-Angle lens. At the front, the Xiaomi Mi 9X will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Software wise it will be running MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 Pie. The battery will have 3,300 mAh capacity and support 18W fast charging. The phone will likely feature a gradient finish with 2.5D glass protection. According to the tipster, the handset will release in April with a price tag of 1,699 Yuan (roughly Rs 17,400).
