Xiaomi has finally announced the global variant of its recently launched Redmi K20, in Europe. The Chinese company had introduced Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi Band 4 fitness band during the event.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T comes in Carbon Black, Glacier Blue and Flame Red colors. It is priced at €329 (approx. Rs 25,800) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option, while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant comes with a price tag of €369 (approx Rs 28,900). The Mi Band 4 comes with a price tag of €34.99.
The latest smartphone from Xiaomi is the global variant of the Redmi K20, which was launched alongside Redmi K20 Pro. The phone comes with a pop-up selfie camera along with a gradient finish at the back panel.
Jumping straight to the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi 9T features 6.39-inches Samsung’s AMOLED Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels, 91.9 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered with 2.84GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 octa-core Processor with Adreno 618 GPU.
The device runs on the Android 9.0 Pie with Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 on top of it and gets its juice from a 4000mAh battery with 18W Fast charging support. For the optics, the smartphone has a triple rear camera setup with a combination of Sony IMX582 48MP ultra-clear primary sensor, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor and an 8-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it is equipped with a 20-megapixel pop-selfie module.
On the connectivity front, it supports Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C port. The phone measures 156.7×74.3×8.8 mm and weighs 191 grams.
Coming to the Mi Band 4, the new fitness band was introduced a few days back in China. The fitness band is a first from company’s Mi Band series to sport a colour display. It has a 0.95-inch colour AMOLED Display with a resolution of 240×120 pixels and display cover is upgraded to 2.5D scratch-resistant glass panel.
The band supports 77 full-colour dial themes and users can slide to the left to make payments. The band comes with a 135mAh battery, which is biggest as compared to its predecessor.
