If rumours are to be believed Xiaomi may soon come out with a new variant of Mi4, Mi4C. GizmoChina has posted a leaked picture containing details about the device on popular social networking site Weibo.
Xiaomi Mi4C will run on MIUI7 which is based on Android 5.0 and might feature a 5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) display, Hexa-core Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 processor, Adreno 418 GPU and 2 GB RAM according to media reports.
Apart from that, Mi 4C is expected to feature a 13 megapixel rear camera along with an LED flash and 5 megapixel front camera. Though not confirmed but it may come loaded with 16 GB internal memory, and packs a 3,080mAh battery. Connectivity options would include 4G, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, Wifi hotspot, Bluetooth and GPS along with A-GPS/GLONASS. The handset is expected to measure 138.1 x 69.6 x 7.8 mm and weighs 130 grams.
It looks like after OnePlus 2, Xiaomi may also adopt USB Type C connector in the device. This type of the connector helps in fast charging of the device and can be used to connect charging or data cable in a reversible way. But the only problem with this kind of port is that one has to always carry a data cable along as it is still not common to find this cable with every mobile user in case of need.
There is no official information available on the pricing or availability of the device, however the Xiaomi Mi 4c is expected to cost around 1,299 Yuan (approx Rs 13,533).
