Xiaomi has today announced the launch of its new Mi Gift Card programme in India. The gift card can be used to purchase products from company’s official website and app.
The Mi gift card has been launched in partnership with SaaS-based prepaid card solutions provider Qwikcliver. The card comes with a minimum and maximum purchase value of Rs. 100 to Rs. 10,000 respectively and a maximum of 10 gift cards can be availed in one order.
In order to purchase the gift card users need to go on company’s official website and then select a Mi Gift card of their choice. Users will get a bouquet of different gift cards for different occasions. After selecting the right gift card, users need to fill in the card details like sender’s info, recipient’s info, a message (200 characters max.), gift card amount, and delivery date. One can pay the amount via credit/debit cards, EMI on credit cards, and UPI.
The recipient will get an email when an order is placed using Mi gift card. The mail will reflect the transaction details and the available gift card balance. In order to redeem the card, users need to go to Mi Store App > My Account > Add Gift card. Users need to enter 16 digit number followed by 6 digit pin. Click ‘Add Gift Card’ button and it will be credited to users’ Mi account. While placing an order on mi.com, you can add and select your existing gift cards to make the payment. Mi Gift Card expires in 12 months from the date of issue.
