Xiaomi has added a new member to its Mi TV 4A series, with the launch of 40-inch Full HD TV. The television comes with a price tag of 1699 Yuan, which roughly translate to Rs 17,450 and it will go on sale in China from March 6.
The major highlight of the Smart TV is the voice control feature that allows users to give commands such as ‘shut down after 10 minutes’ and more through Mi remote’s built-in mic. The Mi TV 4A comes with the same PatchWall user interface, which is present in Mi LED TV 4. The UI comes with deep learning AI technology that curates content based on recommendations. Coming to Mi Remote control, it now has infrared along with Bluetooth to work seamlessly with most appliances like a set-top box.
Coming to key specifications of Mi TV 4A, it comes with a 40-inch Full HD display with a screen Resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels along with 178-degree viewing angle and 5000:1 contrast ratio. The Mi TV is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic L962-H8X Processor along with Mali-450 MP3 GPU. The device is backed by a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
The Mi TV 4A comes with two 8W speakers along with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD audio for dual decoding. On the connectivity front, it supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, two HDMI ports, two USB ports and one Ethernet port.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is all set to announce its TV range in India which will include TVs of 32 inches, 43 inches, 49 inch, 50 inch, 55 inch and 65 inches sizes. The company has already announced that it will launch new TV series couple of days back but it has not revealed prices of the models. However, the TVs got listed on Xiaomi India’s website which has spilt the bean.
As per the listing, the 43 inch TV has been listed on Mi.com/in for Rs 27,999. Reportedly, the TV has quad-core Amlogic T962 64-bit processor, 1GB RAM, 8 GB processor, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Dolby, and DTS Audio. In the listing page, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage was mentioned. Curiously, the same TV was reportedly launched in China sometime back for around Rs 19,000.
