Indian computer brand Champion Computers Pvt Ltd has announced the launch of its first ever Android product the Wtab 7.2. The Wtab 7.2 is a 7 inch Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) based tablet available at a price of Rs. 4899. With the product now launched champion computers also joins the league of manufacturers offering affordable android products for the customers in the Indian market.

The Wtab 7.2 runs on an ARM Cortex A8 architecture based 1.5 GHz processor delivering ample power for much needed performance. It features a 7 inch display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution but as a standard first the Wtab 7.2 comes with a true 5 point touch capacitive touch based touch input system for greater ease of use. The tablet run on the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system for maximum compatibility as well as it has got a 512MB RAM for smoother performance. The tablet comes with an inbuilt 4GB of flash memory which can be further expanded up to additional 32 GB with the use of micro SD cards.

On connectivity front the Wtab 7.2 comes with support for 3G dongle support through USB port and with integrated Wi-Fi connectivity it can stay connected to the network in your home or office for ever. The Wtab also features a 1 megapixel front camera for video calling and imaging support. Weighing just 320gms, the Wtab is one of the lightest tablet tablets in its category. The company claims that it provides a battery back of 4-5 hrs and comes with a warranty of 1 year.

The product is available at all major electronic showrooms, leading e-commerce sites and through channel partners for purchase at a price of Rs 4,899.
