Vu launches new range of Android 4K TVs in India, price starts at Rs 36,999

The series runs on the Stock Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and powered by a Quad Core Processor.

Mumbai headquarter based television manufacturer, Vu has announced the launch of its new range of smart TV based on the stock 7.0 Nougat. The new lineup includes the 43-inch (42SU128), 49-inch (49SU131) and 55-inch (55SU138) at a price tag of Rs 36,999, Rs 46,999 and Rs 55,999 respectively.

All the three TVs comes with a Built-in Chromecast feature, which allows users to share smartphone content on the big screen. The range is equipped with the Ultra-HD display with the resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, which the company claims to give dynamic contrast, high bright mode, mapping and a wide viewing angle. Further, the televisions feature Dolby Digital technologies and boast with 10W x 2 box speakers.

As mentioned before, the series runs on the 7.0 Nougat operating system and powered by a Quad Core Processor. The televisions are backup with the 2.5GB and 16GB Internal storage. Further, the lineup comes preloaded with applications like YouTube, Facebook Video, Sony Liv, ALT Balaji, Netflix, and so on.

The televisions come with the option of two controllers, one with the 11 button design Voice remote, same as the Amazon Fire TV and Xiaomi LED TV 4, while the other is the more complexed and standard remote. The former comes with the connectivity option so you don’t have to point at the TV to control it, however, the later is the infrared radiation unit. On the connectivity front, the whole series gets three HDMI ports, two USB, 3.5 mm jack, HDMI ARC/CEC, Bluetooth, WiFi, Ethernet port.
