Vodafone introduces Rs 549 and Rs 799 packs with 3.5GB and 4.5GB data per day

The Rs 549 and Rs 799 packs are meant to give a stiff competition to the likes of Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.

Vodafone India has today announced two new combo packs for its customers in India. Dubbed as Rs 549 and Rs 799, the packs are meant to give a stiff competition to the likes of Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.

Starting with Rs 549 plan, Vodafone customers will 3.5GB of 4G data per day and the pack offers a validity of 28 days, thus making a grand total of 98GB of data. TelecomTalk reports that the pack offers unlimited voice calls on local and STD network along with free national roaming. Apart from this, users will get 100 SMS per day. Coming to Rs 749 plan, users will get 126GB of data for 28 days with a daily capping of 4.5GB. Apart from this, users will the same benefits as mentioned above.

With this, Vodafone is all set to give a stiff competition to the Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. Starting Jio, it has a plan for Rs 509 under which users get 112GB of data with a daily capping of 4GB per day. The pack offers unlimited voice calls (Local/STD/roaming) and 100 SMS per day. The pack also offers 100 SMS per day as well along with a complimentary subscription for Jio apps. Coming to Rs 799 plan, users get 140GB of 4G data, with a daily FUP limit (Fair Usage Policy) of 5GB per day. The pack comes with a validity of 28 days and it offers similar benefits as Rs 509.

Coming to Airtel, Rs 549 tariff plan offers a total of 84GB 3G/4G data, making the per day usage of 3GB. Further, the customer will also get unlimited local/STD calls, incoming roaming calls and 100 SMS/day. The Rs 799 pack come with a validity of 28 days, which means users will get 98GB of 4G data per month with daily FUP limit of 3.5GB per day. Apart from this, consumers will get unlimited local and STD calls along with 100 SMSes. However, the brand has put a daily cap of 250 minutes and a weekly cap of 1000 minutes. Additionally, outgoing and incoming is free on national roaming.
