Vivo Y93, Y95 receive price cuts, now start at Rs 11,990

The Vivo Y93 will thus be available for a starting price of Rs 11,990 for the base 3GB + 64GB variant while the 4GB + 32GB model will now be sold for Rs 12,990. Vivo has also reduced the price of the Vivo Y95 which now retails for an asking price of Rs 14,990.

A week after launching the Y91i smartphone in India with waterdrop notch display and a 4,030mAh battery, Vivo has now announced that the Vivo Y93 and Vivo Y95 are both receiving price cuts of Rs 1,000.

The Vivo Y93 will thus be available for a starting price of Rs 11,990 for the base 3GB + 64GB variant while the 4GB + 32GB model will now be sold for Rs 12,990. Prior to this, the 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM models of the Vivo Y93 were being sold across all platforms for Rs 12,990 and Rs 13,990 respectively.

Vivo has also reduced the price of the Vivo Y95 which now retails for an asking price of Rs 14,990. The device was launched back in November last year for a price of Rs 16,990 and received its first price cut in January, thus making it available for Rs 15,990.

While the devices are yet to be listed with new prices across online platforms, the Y93 and Y95 are already available at offline retailers for the new prices, tweeted retailer Mahesh Telecom. The new prices are effective from today.

The more recent Vivo Y93 features a 6.22-inch display with a resolution of 1520×720 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 88.6 percent. It’s powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The Vivo Y93 is equipped with a dual-camera setup that comes with a combination of 13MP (f/2.2) primary lens and a 2MP (f/2.4) secondary shooter with LED flash. For the front, the company has added an 8MP selfie shooter with f/1.8 aperture. The Vivo Y93 is backed up by 4,030mAh battery and it runs on 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS 4.5.

Meanwhile, the Vivo Y95 features a 6.22-inch HD+ Halo FullView Display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. The device with its minimal bezels and tear-drop notch offers a screen-to-body ratio of 88.6 percent. It’s powered by a 12nm Snapdragon 439 clocked at 1.9GHz with Adreno 505 coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with Vivo’s own Funtouch OS 4.5 on top and has a 4,030mAh battery.
