Vivo has finally launched the successor of last year’s X9 and X9 Plus smartphones in China yesterday. The smartphones named as Vivo X9s and X9s Plus are priced at 2698 Yuan (which is approximately Rs 25,665) and 2998 Yuan (which is approximately Rs 28,520), respectively. Both the devices are up for pre-orders from official stores of the company. The X9s Plus will go on sale from July 8 while X9s will go on sale from July 20. The smartphones come in gold, rose gold and matte black colour variants. As of now, there are no details on whether the Vivo X9s or the X9s Plus will become available outside of China.
Both the smartphones flaunt a dual front camera setup of which one is of 20-megapixel resolution, which comes with soft LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, and the second camera comes with a 5-megapixel resolution for capturing depth information. On its back, they have a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0, PDAF and a LED flash.

The Vivo X9s has a metal unibody design and features a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED Display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It comes equipped with 1.8GHz Octa-Core (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53) Snapdragon 652 processor, along with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. It is powered by an Octa Core (Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53) Snapdragon 653 processor, along with Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The X9s Plus comes packed with powerful 4015mAh battery with fast charging feature. The handset measures 162.59 × 78.84 × 7.25mm. Rest of the specifications are similar to the Vivo X9s smartphone.
