ByteDance, the parent company of social video platform TikTok, earlier confirmed that it’s partnering with Chinese manufacturer Smartisan to work on a smartphone. Now the company has officially launched its first smartphone – Smartisan Jianguo Pro 3.
The Smartisan Jianguo Pro 3 is priced at 2899 yuan (Rs 29,125 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 3199 yuan (Rs 32,140 approx.) for 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and the top-end 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version is priced at 3599 yuan (Rs 36,160 approx.). It comes in Black, White and Green colours.
The Smartisan Jianguo Pro 3 features a 6.39-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED Display with 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution, 403 PPI Pixel density, and 100,000:1 contrast ratio. The phone is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 Plus 7nm Processor (1 x 2.96GHz Kryo 485 + 3 x 2.42GHz Kryo 485 + 4x 1.80GHz Kryo 485) with Adreno 640 GPU.
The phone has 8GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The 128 GB storage variant comes with UFS 2.1 storage while the 256 GB model supports UFS 3.0 storage. It runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with Smartisan OS 3.0 and is backed up by 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4+ 18W fast charging.Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS,Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C.It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack
For the camera, the phone packs a quad rear camera set-up with a 48-megapixel main snapper with the Sony IMX586 sensor and an f/1.75 aperture, a 13-megapixel Wide-Angle camera with a 123-degrees field of view, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x Optical Zoom support, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. For the front, the device features a 20-megapixel selfie camera that employs the 4-in-1 pixel binning technology.
