Asus has launched its most expensive gaming laptop in India known ROG GX800. The gaming laptop comes with a price tag of whopping Rs 7,97,990, which is costlier than a brand new hatchback car. It will be only available on request.
The latest laptop comes loaded with a host of features and is meant for those, who cannot live without the latest and greatest gaming gear. To start with, the laptop comes loaded with an 18.4-inch LED-backlit 4K screen coupled with Nvidia G-sync variable refresh rate for a lag free gaming experience. But the star of the show is the latest Hydro Overclocking Hydro Overclocking System, which gives the cooling performance required for extreme overclocking of the Processor and graphics cards.
The Hydro Overclocking System helps boost GX800 clock frequencies from 3.2GHz to 4.4GHz. When overclocked, GX800 achieves a 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra score of 10395. When the dock is connected to the laptop, a coolant is pumped and circulated around the processor and graphics card, before it returns to the cooling module where two radiators help to dissipate heat.
As for the specifications is concerned, the laptop is powered by the latest quad-core 2.9GHz Intel Core i7-7820HK processor clocked at 2.9GHz along with dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs. The laptop is backed by a 64GB of RAM, and an array of three 512GB PCIe SSDs storages. GX800 has two 330W power adapters and features plug-and-play compatibility with leading VR headsets.
There is also a MechTAG keyboard which has mechanical switches for positive clicks and 2.5mm of key travel for tactile keystrokes. It also incorporates anti-ghosting with 30-key rollover to ensure that multi-keystroke commands are correctly logged, even when 30 keys are pressed simultaneously. In addition, ROG Aura RGB LED effects can be customised for each key, allowing gamers to configure different effects and colours for individual keys.
