Huawei sub-brand Honor yesterday launched Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro smartphones in China. At the launch event, the company also revealed the names of smartphones which will get Android 10-based Magic UI 3.0 update in future.
The company announced that it will roll out the Magic UI 3.0 update to Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor V20, Honor Magic 2, Honor 10 Lite, Honor 20i, Honor 10, Honor V10, Honor 8X, Honor 9X, Honor 9X Pro, Honor 20S, and Honor 20 Lite. It has already rolled out beta version of the update to Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, and Honor View 20 (Honor V20).
Honor, however, did not reveal any timeline for the rollout of Magic UI 3.0 update for the smartphones which will receive the update. We expect the company to roll out the update in coming days. It is to be noted that the list of the phones to receive the update is only for China region.
Magic UI 3.0 update will bring new features to these smarphones including Dark Mode, new animations, optimization of the lock screen and the notification panel, improvements in system performance, with PC’s connectivity, HiCar support (its own version of Android Auto) and more.
Recently, Huawei has started rolling out Android 10 update to its flagship smartphones. The company has started rolling out the update to Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, P30 and P30 Pro. Similarly, Honor has started rolling out Android 10 update to Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor View 20.
