Telefunken, a German Consumer Electronics Brand (Official Brand licensee of Videotex International) has launched Full HD Smart TV ‘TFK40S’ for Rs 16,999. The product is already available with Amazon India as Amazon Special.
The Telefunken TFK40S TV 40-inch comes with Full HD Resolution Display (1920x1080p) resolution, a 64-bit quad-core processor, and Box speakers. The Smart TV runs on the Android 8.0 version and it comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM.
In a press release, the company has claimed that the new TV is best suited to the Indian Conditions. It says that the Smart TV is exclusively designed to match the ever-changing Indian weather conditions which makes it, Heat Resistant – tested up to 45°C continuously for 240 hours, Humidity Resistant – tested up to 90% relative humidity and Voltage Fluctuation Resistant – tested up to +/-20% normal voltage levels (100-240V).
The TV is engineered to reduce the entry of dust particles with 30% smaller ventilation slots placed at an optimal position on the back of the TV. It comes with Quantum Luminit Technology and Cricket Picture Mode. The TV has 20W Built-In Box Speaker & 5 surround sound modes for ultimate sound.
The TV also has features such as Streamwall UI and Movie Box to enhance the TV-watching experience. The STREAMWALL UI of TV ensures 17,00,000+ hours of content with movies, music videos, TV shows, etc. from a host of official apps tailored. The Cloud TV certified AOSP, comes with a comprehensive range of certified apps like Hotstar, Zee5, Sony Liv, Voot, Alt Balaji, Jio Cinema, etc.
The TV gives a free subscription of Movie Box that gives access to a huge collection of more than 7000 free Movies in both Indian and foreign languages, across varied genres. With Streamwall you can also access Live News without any subscription.
The Telefunken Smart TV is also equipped to give regular OTA firmware updates for a refreshing and entertaining UI. The TV includes multiple connectivity options which include 2 HDMI, 2 USB, HDMI ARC, 1 Optical Output, Ethernet, etc.
