Tecno Mobiles, a brand from Transsion Holdings, has launched its new budget-centric smartphone in India. Dubbed as Tecno Camon iSky 3, the smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 8,599 and it will be available for purchase from leading offline stores across the country.
The new smartphone from Tecno comes loaded with Android 9.0 Pie, which is based on HiOS 4.6. The company has introduced few features like a smart panel that gives direct access to features at any screen. Then there are intuitive navigation gestures through which the software automatically anticipate your next action based on the current action and show you a shortcut to take you straight to the section of the particular App that deals with it. There are some Pie features like an adaptive battery, digital wellbeing and more.
Coming to key specifications, the Tecno Camon iSky 3 is equipped with a 6.2-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 88 per cent. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. It is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, it is equipped with a dual-camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel primary lens with f/1.8 Aperture and a 2-megapixel depth shooter. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel AI selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 78-degree Wide-Angle lens with front flash. The selfie camera comes with 6-level AI beauty mode that scans up to 228 facial points, which is optimised on Indian skin tone.
The phone is juiced up by a 3500mAh battery, which the company claims delivers up to 350 hours of standby time, 12 hours of calling, 6.5 hours of web browsing, 98 hours of music playback and 7 hours of non-stop gaming. The phone features a fingerprint sensor and it is equipped with Face Unlock feature as well. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, dual-SIM, 3.5mm Audio Jack and microUSB port.
