Swipe Telecom, in association with MTC, has launched a tablet. The tablet, named as Swipe MTV Slate, is priced at Rs 14,999. The tablet though is available from Flipkart for Rs 13,999.
The Swipe MTV Slate has a 7.85 inch IPS display with 1024×768 pixel (HD) resolution. It has a 1.2 GHz quad core Processor which is assisted by 1 GB RAM. The tablet has Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and comes with 8 GB in-built memory. There is 32 GB micro SD card slot as well.
The Swipe MTV Slate has a 5 Megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. The tablet, which has a metallic body, comes with a single SIM slot that allows calling as well as data connectivity for browsing. Besides, it has WiFi for internet access. The MTV Slate also comes with Bluetooth for file sharing and GPS for navigation. The 400 grams weighing tablet has a 3600 mAh battery.
